Here you will find our information on Covid-19, FAQ's and how to book a stay with us.
Please be aware that due to a limited amount of pitches, places are filling fast. If you cannot book a specific date or pitch type, it is not due to a glitch on the system but simply because it is fully booked.
Information Regarding COVID-19
Here at Oakfields Camping at The Bat and Ball we take the health and safety of our customers, staff and local area very seriously. Therefore we ask that you have a read through of the following information so you know what we are doing to help keep everyone safe and what you can do to help us. We appreciate it's a long read but it's important!
Booking a stay with us
Please read all this information before booking. Bookings will only be taken online via our website or PitchUp.
If you are planning on booking as a group please be aware that following the change in guidance on Monday 14th September we will no longer be accepting group bookings of any size.
We are also no longer allowing visitors of campers on the campsite grounds.
No vehicles are to enter the campsite until they have been checked in at Reception. We respectfully ask you remain 2 metres away from any staff member checking you in.
You will be required to sign in.
You will be allocated your pitch. These are marked out in white lines. All persons and belongings must remain inside the white lines with exceptions made for trips out and using the facilities. (Please note lines may be less visible in low season due to weather)
During your stay
We respectfully ask you remain 2 metres away from people outside of your pitch, including staff, so far as is possible.
We strongly recommend using your own toilet and washing facilities in the first instance. Portable toilets, buckets and other waste water receptacles can be emptied on our site easily in the designated waste water point (pictured)
The toilet and shower block will be operating a one in, one out system with a maximum of 2 people in each gender at any time. A hand sanitizing station will be available on entry and exit as well as the usual sinks, soap and hand driers. A one way queuing system will be in operation.
There will be additions to our usual cleaning routine including but not limited to disinfectant fogging, visible cleaning log and even more frequent checks.
We ask that you leave the facilities in the condition you would wish to find them.
The facilities will now be closed during cleaning times to ensure the highest standard possible.
Water taps and waste water points will have a 2 metre box marked around them. (Please note lines may be less visible in low season due to weather)
Fire pits will still be available to hire. These will be cash (into a tray) only to reduce numbers into the pub for card payments.
Leaving our site
Please leave your pitch as you found it. Should need arise please report any issues to a member of staff.
